Tens of thousands of devotees thronged Puttaparthi, a town in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, for the funeral of Hindu ascetic Sathya Sai Baba, one of the country's best-known holy men. The ceremony was broadcast live by several of India's television channels, AP reports.
